We can ONLY make new dentures and repair dentures with an Rx from a dentist.
First, let's talk about trying to save money on new dentures:
it's important to understand that with the exception of a few very special situations, only licensed dentists can work in your mouth and diagnose your condition and prescribe the correct work that you need done.
If you're trying to save money by finding someone other than a dentist to make dentures for you, that is NOT a smart way to save money. That's far more likely to cause serious problems later on than it is for you to save money.
Would you try to save money by finding a person without the proper knowledge to repair your car because he charges less than a qualified mechanic. If the unqualified person does some damage to your car, it's almost a certainty that you can get it fixed again. However, if an unqualified person does damage to your mouth, it's very unlikely that you can pay someone else to do the work again and that will fix the damage to your mouth.
Second; let's talk about repairing and adjusting dentures:

If you're looking for a denture or dental lab to do repairs on your existing dentures, we can tell you that there are many dental and denture labs that do repairs directly for the patient / public. HOWEVER, Arizona State Law stipulates that a dental or denture lab can only complete work when directed to do so by a licensed dentist usually via a written prescription / Rx or by verbal instructions and direct supervision. Either way, a licensed dentist needs to be aware of and authorize the repair or other adjustments to dentures. Arizona State Law specifically prohibits dental labs, denture labs or anyone else other than a licensed dentist or denturist from working directly in the mouth of the patient.

While there are many dental labs and dentures labs that are adjusting and repairing dentures in direct violation of Arizona State Law, we will not condone or promote unlawful acts no matter how commonplace they are. Because of our decision to not promote illegal dental activities we cannot direct you to any lab that might be willing to work on your dentures, but rather, we strongly suggest that you see a licensed dentist.

Additionally, we are unable to inform / advise you as to the applicable law/s in the other 49 states, but we strongly recommend that you become informed about the laws in your state and stay in compliance with all of the laws with regard to what a dental laboratory or a denture laboratory can do and cannot do for the public.
